Welcome! My name is Kacie Palmer.  I am the baker and decorator behind Ivory Layers Cakery. My passion for baked goods began when I was young and started with boxed brownie mixes that I would make for my family. I remember each time I would bake them my family would be thrilled and that gave me such happiness! 

 

As time went on I began to make scratch recipes, such as cookies, and often they did not turn out as they should. From there I learned to love the science of baking and began to find success in my creations. 

 

Here I am years later, a self-taught baker and cake decorator! I love to learn and am constantly trying to better my craft. I believe that desserts, cake in particular, should be beautiful AND mouthwatering! I believe in using quality ingredients to create cakes and desserts just like your grandma used to make.
